InPerf is a stand alone program that allow users to monitor performance counters on remote machines. With InPerf, you can selectively choose the counter of interests and immediately view the real time graphs of counter data. You can set threshold for individual counter and InPerf will generate SLA (Service Level Agreement) violation when counter data crosses the set threshold. InPerf also collect data points of the counters and you can view them in report format as they are being generated. You can view and print SLA violation list and Data points list. InPerf also lets you configure customized Notification providers to notify remote users of any new SLA violation.

Since InPerf has to communicate with remote machines, it is imperative that InPerf be installed on a high performance machine. The more machines that InPerf monitors, the more resources InPerf will need to utilize.
